Wales saw the largest increase in joblessness in the UK, between August and October, with unemployment jumping to 4.6%*.Reducing unemployment across Wales is a priority. Supporting marginalised groups into employment and tackling the root causes of worklessness are key to the economic recovery during and post COVID-19.
With the introduction of the
Kickstart and the Job Retention Scheme coming to an end in the spring, ensuring meaningful work opportunities are available is vital to reducing worklessness.
